Since atheists are so idiotic, foolish, dumb, and gullible I decided to disable ratings for comments, mainly because atheists are so gullible that they will actually believe that ratings have some kind of significance.
Why can’t atheists understand that the rating (thumbs up or thumbs down) a comment gets is just an argumentum ad populum? You can’t determine the validity of a comment by the number of thumbs up or thumbs down it gets.
The conclusion drawn though Ockham’s razor about ratings is that they tell us how many users clicked the thumbs up or thumbs down button. Knowing how many users clicked the thumbs up or thumbs down button by itself doesn’t tell us whether or not a comment is true or false. It doesn’t give us any information about the validity or truth of the comment.
If someone claims that the “Sun revolves around the Earth” and that comment gets lots of thumbs up it does’t prove that statement true. If someone claims that the “Earth revolves around the Sun” and that comment gets lots of thumbs down it doesn’t falsify that statement.
Since atheists are quite possibly the most gullible people and will most likely believe ratings are significant I decided to disable ratings.
